It's done. I got really sloppy with the hair, but I don't caaaare. The right side of his face still looks bad too, but oh well... Crappy scan with my very dirty scanner (which is why there's that smear across his face through his eye to his hair; it's on the scanner not the drawing)... and I somehow managed to smash up the end of this drawing lol. I should take better care of my drawings... :shrug: I hope the semi-tutorial thing I did with the beginning of this drawing helped a few people out :)

Hey, I don't think the hair's too bad! My first instinct to keep the feel in line with the rest of the drawing, though, was maybe to lightly run a soft paintbrush (like a fanbrust) over it to soften it a tiny bit. I've found that I tend to get a little too high in contrast with my hair in comparison to the face, but that helps a lot.

Overall, your best yet, though! I gotta frame my next one bigger so I can work in more details like this, especially in the eye. :D

Putting me to shame with your powerful skillz, as always. It looks fantastic! Although, the way the shine behaves on his hair it makes it look almost gray on the sides. Does he have highlights in the photo??
