Hey, the face is looking great, only a few minor things.

I don't know what's going on with the right sleeve of the shirt, but maybe you're going to concentrate on that next? It just seems like the foreshortening is off.

THe hair is good, but could use less "single hair" strokes.

Other than that, I like the light source from the back, it's different than most. Good job.

Exactly WHAT looks bad here? Maybe I just have an untrained eye or something, but I can't for the life of me see that this is not a photography in the preview. the only thing could be the fingers, but seriously, this is really astaounding!

Uhh, question from someone still in development with the skills, how do you get the shading and the texturing like that?

Wow! It's really coming along...

Here's the thing about the hair...it's tonally flat, and hell, the drawing's not even done yet Dont worry too much yet. I suggest going in and erasing some parts and lightening up the tone and adding some variation...in other words, instead of all the stroking you've done, or in addition to, do some shading up there. I've discovered that adding shading to hair helps instead of just strokes. Also, make the dark areas BLACK as you possibly can. And add more strokes to areas where he may look slightly bald, but also do shading. So, instead of drawing the dark hair, surround the highlights with shadows. Hope this helps?
